Housewives-Unpaid Helps?

Okay, I know some men are probably going to flip and say this is not true, while some women might want to give me a big hug that says "you feel us". Hold your horses jare! My colleague brought it up at the office and I am trying to see what people think, while trying to get my writing mojo back on.

Let me say it like Most women feel it, quickly:

DAWN: Family wakes up each morning, mum gets up to make breakfast and gets the kids ready for school, she makes breakfast for the family and packs lunch for the kids and her first son, her husband! Oh, lets not forget, mummy has a job too, so she has to get ready for work, where she probably has countless bosses and clients to attend to.

WORK HOURS: Super hero aka Mummy, attend to work related issues, gets called by teachers informing her of the kids activities at school, not to mention constant calls to and from home, just to be sure the nanny hasn’t run off with her baby, or opened her home doors to hooligans, and make sure someone gets the kids from school, and the story goes on and on.

DUSK: Finally, Super woman, code name Mummy, closes for the day and gets home from work….did I say finally? No such luck, she starts to fuss over dinner, has to make sure baby was well taken care of by nanny while she was away at the office. She starts to make dinner, and ensures the kids have done their assignments, then she finally takes a shower and tries to turn in for the day….no such luck, hubby is in bed with a silly grin on his face, the grin that says “you are going to be in bed darling, but we definitely won’t be sleeping” so she attends to hubby’s needs by doing her wifely deeds lovingly..Or not. lol

Then she falls asleep eventually, and baby probably wakes up and wants mummy not nanny, so she does her mummy duties, dozes off for a few hours and starts the vicious cycle all over the next day.

Let’s do this from Most Men’s angle, slowly:

DAWN: he wakes up, gets dressed, eats breakfast and maybe drops off kids at school.
WORK HOURS: He concentrates and works!
DUSK: Comes home, spends some time with the kids, eats dinner, watches Tv, goes to bed and waits for wife (or drags wife to bed, so he can go to sleep after the deed)

I rest my case, and would love to hear what y’all think.

Marriage is an institution where women gain a Master (s) and men lose their Bachelor(s)- unknown
