My Gambian Experience 2

So yesterday I did a tour to Kichikally to see the crocodiles and soak in a bit of Gambian history, tourists actually touch the live crocodiles! Not me sha, I have seen professional handlers of animals meet some crazy doom, and the thought of a crocodile snapping off my arms and the handlers at this nice place in Kichikally saying “we are so sorry madam, this has never happened before” while the crocodile lazily takes my very lovely arm away keeps playing in my head. So, No, I did not touch any yeye crocodile, but it was nice being at the large pond and hear them tell you about the giant 35 year old crocodile called Charly, that only comes out of the large pond on Fridays , (my kid bro Ose says the croc is celebrating TGIF,Lmao)and all I could think of was someone could have told me this before , and I could have waited two more days to meet “Charly the croc” oh well, unless Charly comes to my hotel to visit me, I will have to meet him next time I come to Gambia (lets hope he is still alive then, how long do crocs actually live for? Mental note-Google) I got home, and by home I mean my hotel room at Laico atlantic and went straight  to chat with my new best friend called Sainey, he is the life guard and looks as good as we all feel life guards should.lol
Sainey has been very helpful, helping me with tour destination and telling me where to get Naija food, wonderful guy with so much to teach about the Gambia, and his amazing love and respect for their president, a sentiment I do not exactly share for reasons I will disclose later.
I visited Serekunda which is said to be the most dense in population compared to the other places like Bakau, Senegambia and Banjul. But leaving in Lagos, I did not see the population they were talking about.lol
Okay, how many of you read france afrique in secondary school? Gosh golly! These Gambians were the prototype for the sketches…them black no be small.
I have been going up and down feeling like a white girl, they could blend with the darkness if not the presence of eyes and teeth…Lol,but they are remarkably friendly and always ready to assist.
I really am  loving The Gambia on this amazing Journey called My Gambian Experience
Ps: I am feeling like the lady who wrote Eat, Pray, Love will check back with you guys after my spa date, Marie the masseuse I hear is quite excellent. Yeah you can hate me now, I don’t kia.
