The Duke of Edinburgh has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary this afternoon as a 'precautionary measure', Buckingham Palace said.
It's the third time in eight months that Prince Philip, 91, has been taken to hospital.
The most recent admission was in June, during celebrations for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, when he fell ill with a bladder infection.
He came down with the infection after appearing alongside the Queen during the four hour rain-soaked Jubilee Pageant on the River Thames and spent five nights recovering at the King Edward VII Hospital in London.
He was forced to miss a number of engagements including the Diamond Jubilee concert and a trip to Nottingham with the Queen.
He was also flown to Papworth Hospital in Cambridgeshire days before Christmas last year where he underwent surgery to have a stent inserted in a blocked artery.
